- App data: Trackers, streaks, relapse logs, milestones, and other entries you create in the app.
- Goonbot messages: Chat messages you send to the in-app assistant. These messages are processed to generate responses.
- Device and usage data: App version, device type, and diagnostics required to keep the app stable.
- Purchase data: Subscription status and purchase receipts provided by Apple or our payment partners.
How We Use Information
- Provide core tracking and recovery features.
- Sync data across devices and restore accounts.
- Deliver premium features and manage subscriptions.
- Improve reliability, security, and performance.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app:
- Clerk for authentication and account management.
- Supabase for database hosting and secure storage.
- Google Gemini to process Goonbot chat responses.
- RevenueCat and Apple for in-app purchases.
Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account in the app, which removes your account data from our systems. If you need help, contact support at team@astridscale.com.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices and encryption in transit to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your Choices
- Access, update, or delete your account from the settings screen.
- Cancel subscriptions anytime in your Apple ID settings.
- Contact us for questions or data requests.
Children's Privacy
Goon Counter is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you in-app if required.
